When can I access the facility? What are your office hours?

You can access the property with your gate access code between the hours of 7:00 AM am and 9:00 PM seven days a week, 365 days a year.  Our office is open for your convenience Monday – Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What type of security do you offer?

Acorn Self Storage has state of the art security cameras, laser beams, 24-hour lighting and individual storage door alarms. In addition, all customers have unique gate access codes.

Do you provide locks?

We have several types of secure locks available for purchase in our office.

What kind of documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?

We require a government-issued ID, such as a state issued driver’s license, state ID, or passport. All renters must be at least 18 years old.

Do you offer flexible lease terms?

All of our units are leased on a month-to-month basis. Be sure to ask our management team about special promotions too! And now we offer convenient on-line rentals – you can rent a storage unit from the convenience of your own home!

Do I need insurance on my belongings?

Yes, you are required to insure your belongings at Acorn Self Storage. We offer affordable self-storage insurance options at the facility. If you have your own homeowners or renter’s insurance policy, you may use that instead. You must bring a copy of the declaration page at the time of rental.

How do I make a payment?

We have a variety of convenient payment options. You can make a payment online through our website, pay in person, or via mail using a check or money order. You may also sign up for our convenient monthly autopay option using a major credit card.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

Is my initial monthly storage unit rent guaranteed for as long as I rent my storage unit?

We strive to provide a value to our customers through competitive pricing and by offering the best customer service in the storage industry. We may find it necessary to make adjustments to our customers’ rental rates in order to keep up with the rising costs associated with providing top-notch service and a clean, safe and secure facility.

Do you offer RV/Boat/Auto/Motorcycle parking?

We have several parking spaces available for rent at the facility. Our management will be happy to discuss options with you.

Can I change my storage unit to a different size after I have already moved in?

Our staff will make every effort to accommodate your needs. If the unit size that you want is available at the facility, you may transfer to another storage unit.

Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to move in.
